iwow was assigned to help Cabonline automate a manual process in feeding their planning system with data.
The customer had a manual process for compiling data from different sources and importing it to their planning system.
As the system did not have any integration or mass import capabilities, the manual process was needed but not efficient.
The assignment was to automate the manual process using RPA or any other suitable automation tool. The automation needed to receive data from both CSV and API and compile data with dynamic variables using loops and conditions.
The solution needed to handle several thousand data objects.
Using UI automation in Power Automate Desktop, the process got fully automated and saved several minutes for each data object to be imported. The solution consists of several sub flows to clearly structure the automation.
To make the solution scalable, we used dynamic variables and conditional loops which enabled the solution to handle any upcoming scenario of changes in master data.
We also monitor the solution with a custom build error handling documentation.
