iwow led a project to establish a maintenance organization and Azure-hosted application service for the client’s new public website.
CHALLENGE
A previous project to build the new public website had concluded without securing maintenance and hosting capabilities for the website or planning the rollout of 40 market sites. In addition, some remaining development activities needed completion before the rollouts. During this project, a parallel initiative to upgrade the Sitecore platform was also underway, adding further complexity.
ASSIGNMENT
The project involved:
- Negotiation, management, and follow-up of multiple supplier SLAs
- Establishment of Azure hosting service
- Management of the global launch of 40 market sites
RESULT
The project was delivered on time, within budget, and with successful results, including:
- An established maintenance organization with appropriate SLAs
- Implementation of an Azure hosting service
- Defined structures for incident and ticket reporting
- Realization of business value from the previous development project through the successful completion and rollout of 40 market sites
- Successful balancing of parallel Sitecore upgrade activities
