iwow led the implementation of a global operating model built on agile and lean principles in the area of Data & Analytics and Enterprise AI at a Manufacturing / Engineering company.

CHALLENGE
The client faced significant challenges with their governance and delivery model in the Data & Analytics and Enterprise AI space.
They had unclear roles and responsibilities, lacked defined end-to-end processes, and operated with a fragmented stakeholder community.

RESULT
During the assignment, an agile operating model including both business and IT stakeholders was designed and rolled out in Data & Analytics and Enterprise AI area, covering:
- Implementation of a client-tailored PI planning concept
- Establishment of two Agile Release Trains
- Establishment of 10 cross-functional DevOps teams
- Shifting from waterfall-style budget planning to capacity-funding budgeting
