The client faced significant challenges with their governance and delivery model in the Data & Analytics and Enterprise AI space.

They had unclear roles and responsibilities, lacked defined end-to-end processes, and operated with a fragmented stakeholder community.

Implement a new operating model built on agile principles including:

  • Define and set up the necessary meetings and ceremonies
  • Define and implement the needed roles and responsibilities
  • Define and set up an end-to-end process from prioritization to implementation and roll-out

RESULT

During the assignment, an agile operating model including both business and IT stakeholders was designed and rolled out in Data & Analytics and Enterprise AI area, covering:

  • Implementation of a client-tailored PI planning concept
  • Establishment of two Agile Release Trains
  • Establishment of 10 cross-functional DevOps teams
  • Shifting from waterfall-style budget planning to capacity-funding budgeting
